What is this?

Some teeth are just in the wrong place at the wrong time, behaving in the wrong way. Oral surgery is a way for us to save you all the hassle by removing them. This type of maxillofacial surgery aims to rid the patient of unnecessary complications and pain stemming from those “awkward” teeth.

What does it help with?

Mostly, it alleviates the pain that badly damaged or unerupted teeth can cause. Very often this applies to the wisdom teeth. Sometimes they simply refuse to erupt, or they “go in the wrong direction” and thus endanger the surrounding teeth, and sometimes they come out with cavities. Through surgery, they can be removed so that they don’t do any more damage.

Surgical tooth extraction may also be necessary for severely damaged roots, bone regeneration, cyst removal, or opening a “path” for orthodontic treatment.

How does it work?

At Mutafchiyska Dent, we have specialists who will infallibly diagnose the problem tooth. All we need to do so is see an X-ray. And if the tooth needs to be extracted, we will do it quickly, skillfully and painlessly.

Who is it suitable for?

There was a time when tooth extraction was considered the only cure for pain. Fortunately, that is not the case today! Even so, problematic teeth can appear at any age, which are better off being removed. Because the risk of keeping them outweighs the benefits.
